The streak is alive

Not only did my buckeyes take another major step on the road to redemption, but my Bengals also managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They started off without a pulse. The 16 point’s vegas was giving them against the Cowboys didn’t look to have a chance. And then something funny happenned. The Bengals foughtback. They started eaking away yards, and putting up points. Next thing I knew, they were shutting down Dallas, and moving the ball, putting together long drives. Dallas had no answer. After the bengals scored, to bring it to within a field goal, they shocked everyone with an onside kick. The cameraman, the announcers, and especially not the cowboys, never saw it coming. It was perfect. Marvin had made an amazing coaching decision that actually worked. They were driving down the field, about to blow it open. Then it happened. Chris Perry, proved once again that he is a lock to set the all time consecutive games with a fumble record. The bastard put it on the ground, and the game was over from there. The little scare, followed by the fumble rallied the Cowboys, and the better team prevailed. What a waste that dude is. Not only was he half the running back that the newly acquired Cedric Benson was, but he lost the game for them in the process. Is there any way we can un-draft him? There has to be a mercy rule in the NFL for times like this. I know the Bengals have made way worse picks than him, but he’s worthless. We traded down, missing out on steven jackson to get him. Oh well. The Bengals stayed in the hunt for that #1 pick, but I’m starting to worry. They looked good, sans Chris Perry. The lions on the other hand, really suck. I’m starting to worry that the Bengals may get the passing game together and actually win that 4 games I first predicted. My confidence is really shaken at this point. They even beat the spread against Dallas. An actual playoff contender, and they beat the spread. We need a Chad Johnson Blow up, and we need it fast.
OSU stood up to a big test in Madison. Anyone who’s ever gone to a game there knows. It’s no easy task. Our super-frosh QB marched them down the field, eating up the clock, and went in on his own for the winning score. Two things stuck out in my mind about that game. One, is Ohio state the only team past the middle school level to use zone coverage inside the 10 yardline? It’s like an automatic TD, most times to a tight end. Have our defensive coaches ever watched football? The other, is why do we still use the other running backs? I know Herron, and Saine have both had some decent games, and can provide a new look. But, when you have a running back averaging 11 yards a carry, shouldn’t you give him the ball? Wells was seldom used in the 2nd quarter. The first play of the 2nd half that he got the ball, what did he do? 54 yard run that would have been a score, had he not been wearing army boots and stepped out of bounds. Between his giant safety shoes, and the catchers mit terrel pryor was wearing on his throwing hand in the 3rd quarter, you have to wonder what could they have done without these wonderful gizmo’s?
The real question on everyones mind this weekend, was ‘what did the Wisconsin band do to get suspended’? Lots of rumors have been floating around, and we need to get to the bottom of this. This could be the coolest story of the season. How does an entire band get suspended. I could see if your school band was Motley Crew, or something, but a marching band? According to reports, the Badger Band had earlier been placed on probation, for reports of sexual misconduct, alcohal abuse, and hazing, and the latest episode was along those lines. Booze, sexual misconduct, and hazing. Am I the only one who wants to hang out with the wisconsin band? Those guys rock, and need to have their own show. This would give the Big Ten network something to air during the week that isn’t retarded.
this one time, at band camp……
